Read through our list of frequently asked questions to find the answers you're looking for. Feel free to contact us or return to our support page if you have any additional questions.
Q: I'm downloading but can NOT find the download on my computer. Where do the songs go? A: Most internet browsers will prompt you to give the location of where you want to save the file. If you are not prompted, your browser may be set to automatically open the file or save it to a preset location. Please check the settings and preferences for your browser.
Q: I am having trouble playing the files that I have downloaded. What am I doing wrong? A: First, make sure that you have a program that is capable of playing mp3 files. Most computers include a media player that will work just fine but you may wish to download a free player such as winamp ( http://www.winamp.com ). Open the file in your player and press play.
Make sure that your computer speakers are attached and turned on and that your computer's volume is at an audible level and is not muted.
Q: The songs that I heard are not by the artist that they say that they're by? A: Some of the songs on Free Music Download Spot are performed by cover or tribute bands. These songs have an asterisk (*) after the name of the original artist. The original artist is displayed for your reference and the performing artist is also displayed. All other songs are indeed performed by the original artists.
Q: The songs will not play the samples. How do I listen to your music? A: Most songs have a 30 second sample clip that you may listen to for free by clicking on the 'listen' icon. However, we are aware that this feature does not currently work for everyone and we are working on a solution. In the meantime you might try a different browser. Microsoft Internet Explorer has the best compatibility with Free Music Download Spot.
